Coordinate and develop courses in the Criminal Justice Academy; develop the Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) Program, coordinate and develop the Detention Officer Certification Course (DOCC); evaluate instructors in the presentation of the programs and evaluate students in their reception of the training; prepare reports, maintain a variety of training records for police, law enforcement personnel, NC Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Division, NC Sheriff’s Education and Training Standards Division and the NC Community College System office.
