Position Objective Reports to the Maintenance Manager and/or Maintenance Coordinator or Chief Mechanic.  Under direction, performs all types of maintenance work on the various unit operations of the Authority's wastewater treatment plant so as to maintain the proper level of operation required by the Federal and State regulatory agencies.  Performs other work as instructed.   Responsibilities Receives assignments for work to be performed throughout the day from the Maintenance Manager and/or Maintenance Coordinator or Chief Mechanic and is responsible for completing those assignments utilizing the proper tools and methods.  Corrective maintenance work performed throughout the plant includes but is not limited to repairing pumps, valves, piping, screening equipment, grit collection equipment, chlorination and UV equipment, digester gas collection and distribution systems, Belt Press units, sludge and chemical additive conveying equipment, stationary diesel engines,...
