JOB SUMMARY
At Wilson School District, we believe that education should be shaped by a sense of purpose. As the Library Assistant, you will assist in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning library environment in which staff and students can make the most effective use of instructional materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Plans, organizes, and completes duties as they apply to the library operation.
Processes newly received materials and inventories materials.
Processes notices and visual materials under direction of the supervisor (posters, flyers, etc)
Supports the Leadership Team with district and state assessments.
Assists the MTSS facilitators with testing.
Assists with duty coverage.
Provides information and help to any teacher or student as needed.
Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students.
Maintains cooperative relations with others.
