This position serves as Allergy and Immunization Program Coordinator and is responsible for and manages the patient care and compliance for a comprehensive immunization and allergy service at Student Health Services. The role is responsible for the development and implementation of related policies and procedures; student education and promotion; administering allergy injections and immunizations; maintaining allergy records and vaccine inventory; coordinating with community allergy specialists; and ensuring compliance with CDC, the American College Health Association (ACHA) guidelines, and the Commonwealth of Virginia immunization requirements. The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for providing general patient care according to nursing protocols, supervision of clinic support staff, and serving as a member of the Student Health Services Leadership Team. The Nurse Supervisor serves as the Infection Prevention and Control Coordinator and provides input for policy, procedure and process changes or revisions in collaboration with the Clinical Supervisor and Medical Director.
