The City of Middletown is seeking qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Licensed Water Treatment Plant Operator (Grade 2A or higher) to work at the City’s Grade 1A licensed Water Treatment Plant . This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient treatment and delivery of drinking water to the community in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of water treatment processes and equipment. Duties include performing routine operational checks, collecting and analyzing water samples, conducting laboratory testing, maintaining accurate operational and regulatory records, and assisting with light maintenance of plant equipment, facilities, and grounds.
