School Security Officer Eastern Westmoreland Career & Technology Center The Eastern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center (EWCTC) is seeking qualified applicants for a Full-Time School Security Officer to support and implement emergency response and safety plans, maintain a positive, visible presence, and promote a secure learning environment through active patrol and engagement. Preferred candidates are graduates of an accredited PA Municipal Police Academy with current Act 120 Certification or have 3+ years of law enforcement experience. In addition, candidates must be licensed under 18 Pa.C.S. Ch.16 (Uniform Firearms Act), certified under Act 235 (Lethal Weapons Training Act) and NASRO or PPCD-approved equivalent certification must be obtained immediately upon hire if not already held.
