WHAT YOU WOULD DO:
Prepare Requests for Proposals/Qualifications, lead evaluation and team, make recommendations
Oversee internal design staff to develop approved plans, specifications and estimates
Review and prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules, plans, specifications, estimates, provide markups, and track progress
Manage consultants, ensure successful delivery of complex projects
Coordinate with jurisdictions and agencies for compliance and permitting
Collaborate with project stakeholders, gain input to inform design decisions
Provide support to construction staff, attend meetings, review submittals, RFI’s, change order requests, and design changes
Assist in developing capital improvement plans
Provide assistance to the Water Engineering Manager in meeting department-wide goals and objectives
Manage agreements related to projects, assist with planning, land acquisition, and asset management
