Gilbert, AZ loc. May T/C up to 2 days/ wk and occasionally more if workload and/ or project reqts permit. Perform engineering calcs, technical studies, field insp, + prep plans + specs for various projects, + assist in geotechnical aspects on deep fdns. Works w/ client + other disciplines to prep designs. Review + approve geotechnical calcs + modeling. Review vendor drawings + eval need for design change. Consult w/ construction personnel. Ensure drawings + specs meets scope, schedule, cost, + quality. May oversee tasks of Jr. engineers. Work in multi-disc teams + leads tasks + simple project teams. Field activity occasionally requires work outside normal hours (i.e., early morning) and extended work hours. Natl travel to project sites and confs may involve up to 60 days/ yr, potentially exceeding 10 days/ trip. May undergo background checks and random drug testing.
