WGTE Public Media is seeking a full-time Broadcast Engineer. This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the technical infrastructure for the organizations television and radio broadcast operations, ensuring reliable performance and compliance with FCC and industry standards. Responsibilities include maintaining broadcast, studio, and production equipment; troubleshooting signal impairments and system issues; assisting with system upgrades and integration; and collaborating with engineering, IT, and other departments to support daily operations and long-term technical projects. The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver who can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced technical environment while communicating complex technical information clearly.
