Function: Under close supervision of the Instrumentation Supervisor, or designated senior technician, performs routine preventive and corrective maintenance work associated with the installation, maintenance and repair of process control instrumentation and electronic equipment used in the production, treatment, storage and distribution of water. Responsibilities: Performs routine preventive and corrective maintenance work by: Monitoring the proper operation of various process instruments through local HMI panels and SCADA workstations. Calibrating and maintaining a variety of electronic equipment to include: flow and pressure transmitters, turbidity meters, pH meters, CL2 meters, and streaming current detectors. Verifying the proper operation of modems, switches, routers, PLCs, and other related devices related to the SCADA system.
