Description This is a 164 day faculty position, that teaches and oversees various aspects of program development, planning and implementation of the Basic Fire Fighter program and other Fire Science training. Serves as a lead instructor for Firefighter 1 and 2 (Fire Standards). Assists in program expansion and student recruitment. Maintains state program certifications and serves as the college’s primary contact for the Florida Bureau of Fire Standards and Training. Prepares and updates course syllabi, schedules all classes, oversees proficiency-based training and exams. Maintains accurate student records, accessible to each student, respectively.
