Journeyman Lineman
Cleveland Utilities Authority , a municipal utility providing electric, water, wastewater and fiber services to the Cleveland, Tennessee/Bradley County area, is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to construct and maintain our electrical transmission and distribution facilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform all maintenance, construction and repair of electrical distribution and transmission systems, both overhead and underground, in an accepted manner concurrent with industry and Cleveland Utilities’ standards.
Carry out the performance of the job utilizing all required safety procedures and equipment.
Perform energized and de-energized line work utilizing ladders, climbing tools and/or aerial lift trucks.
Train and instruct apprentice linemen in duties they are to perform.
Ensure tools and equipment are in safe working condition and well maintained.
