POSITION INFORMATION:
Under general supervision, performs skilled tasks in the installation, operation, repair and maintenance of water plant equipment, machinery and systems. Exercises independent judgment in determining work methods after receiving written or oral instructions. Performs the work of a water plant operator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Install, operate, maintain and repair various types of valves, pumps, gear reducers, air compressors, blowers, internal combustion engines and other mechanical equipment.
