The Skokomish Indian Tribe is seeking to hire Court Administrator.
The incumbent will serve as the lead administrator for the Court and will have the day-to-day responsibility for the court operations. The TCA will work closely with the Tribal Court staff and the Chief of Police to ensure that all aspects of court administration are operational. Provide guidance, direction, and supervision to Tribal Court staff. Skill in effective team building, motivation, mediation, negotiation, and conflict resolution. Draft, update, and research court codes, court ordinances, court rules, and court forms, and oversee court reports to ensure that court documents are processed and filed effectively. Develop, prepare, and administer contracts and agreements.
Degree (Required): Bachelor’s degree in public administration, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Court Administration, American Indian Studies, or a related field. Associate’s degree in legal studies, Paralegal, or related...
