The City of Turner is accepting applications for a part-time (24-30 hours/week) Accounts Payable/Utility Billing Clerk position. Main duties include processing the City’s Accounts Payable and maintaining vendor files, assisting with Utility Billing duties i.e. preparing late notices, and recurring payments, Accounts Receivable, answering the City Hall phone lines, receipting payments, reconciling the cash drawer, checks and credit card payments, along with filing and other projects to support the Finance Director.
A high school diploma and accounts payable and office experience with customer service are required. Proficiency with Word, Excel and other general computer experience is needed.
Starting salary is $23-31/hour depending on experience. This is an Oregon Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) qualified position and is a union position under Teamsters Local 324 which includes paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and full healthcare benefits. This position has the...
