Pay Rate: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour

Position Overview:


Leed Corporate Services is seeking experienced Sheetmetal Mechanics and Avionics Technicians with a strong background in heavy helicopter modifications. This position supports high-level modification, upgrade, and structural work on rotary-wing aircraft in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:


Sheetmetal Mechanics:
Perform structural modifications, repairs, and fabrication on helicopter airframes

  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical data
  • Install, fit, and fasten sheet metal components using proper techniques and tools
  • Conduct drilling, riveting, and bonding of aircraft structures
  • Ensure all work meets FAA and company quality standards


Avionics Technicians:


Install, troubleshoot, and modify avionics systems in helicopters

  • Perform wiring, routing, and integration of electrical systems
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Conduct system testing, fault isolation, and repairs
  • Support avionics upgrades and mission-specific modifications



Minimum Qualifications:


Minimum 3+ years of experience in helicopter maintenance/modifications

  • Proven experience with heavy modifications on rotary-wing aircraft
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data, schematics, and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Must have own tools (basic hand tools required)
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening



Preferred Qualifications:


Experience on military helicopters (e.g., UH-60, CH-47, etc.)

  • FAA A&P License (highly preferred for avionics roles, but not required)
  • Prior modification or depot-level maintenance experience



Work Environment:


Hangar and flight line environment

  • May require standing, bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces
  • Overtime may be available based on project demands
