Gulf Fastener, Inc., serving the US Navy Shipbuilding industry, is growing again! As a result, we're now looking for a highly motivated, responsible, career-minded individual to join our Virginia team as an Inside Sales/Account Manager in Roanoke, VA!

While US Navy fastener industry experience is desirable, your willingness to dive in to learn & retain significant technical subject matter (prints, specifications, processes, etc.) is the more important factor in contributing to our high-performance team. We're looking for motivated life-long learners who enjoy providing our customers with the best possible responsiveness and service! Our ideal candidate is someone who is looking for a career driven role for the long term.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing, quoting, purchasing, order entry, customer service and account management.
  • Customer service, sales and account management.
  • Hours 8:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday - Friday. (WEEKENDS OFF)

This is an onsite position in Roanoke, Virginia.

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship
  • College Degree BS/BA/AS preferred
  • Proficient in both Microsoft Outlook and Excel required
  • A successful academic and/or work history that demonstrates commitment and dependability is a must.
  • Must work well within a fast-paced team environment, keeping track of multiple demands from customers, both internal and external.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. How we communicate with our team and our customers is a significant aspect of this role!
  • Ability to interpret and understand a variety of instructions written or verbal, including customer mechanical drawing and specification requirements.
