Operator Technician

Southeast Gas has an immediate opening for an Operator Technician at its Pike Road Office.

Responsibilities for the job include:

· Learning and assisting with installing, repairing, and maintaining gas distribution systems.

· Corrosion control, leak investigations, and meter installations.

· Operating tools and equipment, and assisting crews in construction and maintenance.

· Responding to customer service needs under supervision.

Requirements for the job include:

· Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

· High school diploma or GED.

· Possession of a valid Alabama Driver’s License.

· Ability to obtain CDL within 1 year.

· Ability to obtain Apprentice Gas Fitter Certification within 1 year.

· Residence within Pike Road service area.
