We are currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work in our Eyelet Manufacturing division. Responsibilities Plan, lay out, install, repair and maintain a wide range of production equipment, auxiliary mechanisms and power services. Experienced Eyelet Toolmaker Job description: The Platt Brothers & Company, a family owned business since 1797 is a major source for zinc, zinc alloy and other non-ferrous products along with intricate custom eyelet and deep drawn stamping capabilities. We are currently seeking an Experienced Eyelet Toolmaker who is capable of making and developing new tooling as well as maintaining existing jobs on all sizes of Waterbury Farrel, Baird and Platarg Presses. Core Responsibilities: Build and develop, with limited supervision, new deep draw transfer press tooling. Maintain, and in some cases, improve existing transfer press tools. Mentor, teach, and train less skilled and apprentice toolmakers. Work directly with engineering on new jobs and improving existing jobs.
