The Yakima Valley Conference of Governments is accepting applications for a full-time, exempt Finance Specialist. The position performs detailed payroll and accounting work, including payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, bank and financial reconciliations, employee benefit and leave transactions, grant reimbursement support, financial reporting, and maintenance of accurate, confidential, and auditable financial records. Applicants must have at least three years of relevant payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience, including municipal or governmental finance experience. Current working experience using Vision/TripleView financial software is required. An associate degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may substitute for formal education on a year-for-year basis.
