  City Administrator, part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.  City of Maricopa (pop. 1250). Salary DOQ. Maricopa is NOT a CalPERS agency.  Open until filled. Position is accountable to a 5-member elected city council, supervises the city’s 6 employees, and administers an annual budget of $680,000, including governmental, proprietary, and special funds.  City contracts with Kern County for certain services, including police and fire, plan check, and building inspection. In-house services include wastewater collection/treatment; refuse collection/disposal; animal control; public works; parks; business licenses and permits.
