JOB SUMMARY Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the Okeechobee Utility Authority, a public owned Independent Special District providing water and wastewater utility services to the community.  The position ensures that water and wastewater facilities and systems are operated and maintained in an efficient manner and in accordance with federal, state and local standards and regulations and permit requirements.  Development and implementation of a strategic vision or goal for positive company growth.  Providing for a positive interaction between employees, management, OUA Board and customers for continued success.  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The following duties are normal for this position.
