The Department of Pathology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center (UHCMC) and  Case Western Reserve University is seeking an experienced academic hematopathologist to lead  the Section of Hematopathology within the Division of Clinical Pathology. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of our hematopathology diagnostic services, will support and oversee the educational and research missions of the Section, and will mentor the faculty of the Section to success in these missions.  The Section of Hematopathology provides a full range of state-of-the-art diagnostic services to  UHCMC, Seidman Cancer Center, Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital and other hospitals in  the UH network. The Section includes the hematology laboratory, bone marrow and lymph node  diagnostic services, and flow cytometry. Applicants should be board-certified in AP or  AP/CP with fellowship training in BST pathology or equivalent experience and  qualified for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Ohio. Both recent  graduates and more experienced pathologists are encouraged to apply. The  faculty member will support the bone and soft tissue/sarcoma service as well as  other services, including frozen section coverage, the education of residents,  fellows and medical students, and weekly tumor boards in conjunction with  Seidman Cancer Center.
