Job Description Job Description SUMMARY: A Warehouse and Motor Freight Shipping Person performs a wide variety of duties to pack, pick, receive, ship, stock and maintain inventory records. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Work from pick slips, shipping or receiving documents and data terminal to maintain accurate inventories and ship products on a timely basis. Receive customer orders for shipment by UPS, common carrier, mail, air, or freight express services. Responsible for picking and processing special type orders, including but not limited to: Naval, Government, Nuclear and others where special attention is needed while packaging the order. Select stock from picking orders and place in holding area. Pack complete orders and move to audit areas. Use data terminal to research orders from manufacturing for completion.
