The Free Press is looking for an accounting professional to perform and assist with several general accounting and other office responsibilities in our office in downtown Mankato. The qualified candidate will be responsible for several general accounting functions including data entry, cash accounting and reconciliation, entering accounts payable, posting customer payments and billing, including communication with customers. This position is an integral part of the daily accounting and business office operations of the Free Press. This position will also assist with the month end close process. A two-year accounting degree and a minimum of two years of experience in day-to-day accounting functions is preferred. Qualified candidates will have solid general accounting skills, and the ability to complete multiple tasks on deadlines.
