The Brodhead Creek Regional Authority (“BCRA”) is currently accepting applications for the position of Water Treatment Plant Operator. The BCRA is a Water and Wastewater Authority headquartered in Stroud Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. The BCRA operates a conventional water treatment plant, a membrane filter plant, and well system permitted at 6.34 MGD.  A Pennsylvania Water System Class A license is preferred but will also accept Class B or C license. Class E operator’s license preferred or must be acquired within one (1) year of hire.  The successful candidate will also have or be able to obtain within one (1) year of hire, the following Subclasses: Subclass 1-Coventional Filtration; Subclass 6 Membrane filtration; Subclass 7-Corrosion Control and Sequestering; Subclass 8- Chemical Addition; Subclass 10-Aeration and Activated Carbon Absorption; and Subclass 12-Non-gaseous Chemical Disinfection.
