*City Application Required* THE POSITION Under general supervision, performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks involved in cleaning, maintenance, limited construction, or repair of City buildings, facilities, landscapes and parks. This position is responsible for the Civic Center, parks, Village landscapes, facility, and grounds cleaning, repair, construction, debris and graffiti removal, maintenance, and restroom upkeep. Additionally, the incumbent assembles and repairs office furniture; sets up for meetings and special events; repairs irrigation systems and maintains related timers and equipment. Also, performs snow removal and traffic control duties as needed. A successful candidate in this position will be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as respond to after-hours emergency call-outs and perform routine standby duties.
