Resources for Seniors, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and resourceful Information & Referral Consultation Specialist / Options Counselor to assist older adults, adults with disabilities and caregivers throughout Wake County. This position location will be at the Main Office in Raleigh, NC and will provide Information & Referral services, Case Assistance, Options Counseling, advocacy, community outreach, and public education, helping individuals navigate complex situations and make informed decisions about their care and well-being. Success in this role requires discretion, adaptability, resilience, consistency, emotional intelligence, sound judgment, optimism, composure, and a strong commitment to advocacy.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Respond to inquiries by phone, email, walk-in visits, and community contacts.
Assess client needs and identify appropriate resources and services.
