The Barnstable Housing Authority (BHA) seeks an experienced and innovative Executive Director to lead and oversee its programs, properties and contracts with state, federal and local entities. The BHA owns and operates a 68 unit federally funded building for elderly and younger disabled tenants, a 20 bedroom congregate facility, 136 Ch. 667 units, 52 Ch. 705 units (single family homes/condos), and 52 Ch. 689 units. The BHA manages a 9 unit property in Hyannis. We hold 15 VASH vouchers, 200 DIAL/NED special vouchers, and over 300 additional vouchers Enhanced, Fair Share, HCV, and project based. BHA administers 39 MRVP vouchers, 13 AHVP vouchers, and 31 DMH vouchers in various locations. BHA created a Rental Acquisition Program (RAP) and added 52 units to our portfolio; the RAP units are affordable, not subsidized.
