The Road Foreman will direct, instruct, assist, and supervise a large road crew with in the Road Department, check methods and procedures, standards of performance, policies, discipline, and safety of workers. Road department is charged with the maintenance of county roads utilizing a variety of equipment and must have operating knowledge of all equipment used. Operate motor grader, grading various base materials maintaining and establishing road profiles to grades and blue tops. Hand operated tools are also utilized in the performance of this job.
