Employee will report to the County Assessor and will establish real estate values for residential, non-residential and commercial properties. This position will require working outdoors in all types of climates and terrain. Employee will assist co-workers in assessing every property within the county, determine proper appreciation or depreciation of structures and/or land, sketch buildings, take measurements, and enter all information pertaining to appraisal on property computer records. The Firefighter/EMT-Basic shall be a sworn firefighting position. Upon acceptance of this position the selected applicant shall pass an NFPA 1583 physical and will be required to pass this physical annually along with passing the required annual physical assessments. Monitor designated municipal solid waste transfer and convenience stations in Eddy County. This position works in a crew environment to assist the Road Department with the Solid Waste Transportation of trash to Sandpoint Landfill for delivery of roll off containers. Each operator will be given a designated routes to transport the containers and maintenance will be scheduled on equipment. The Light Equipment Operator possesses knowledge of: sub-base compaction, base construction, and surface construction of un-surfaced.
