POLICE OFFICER   SOUTH PARK TOWNSHIP   Qualified persons are invited to apply to South Park Township to take competitive examinations leading to eligibility for appointment as a Full-Time Police Officer with the South Park Township Police Department.   General Requirements:   Candidates, at the time of application must: (1) Possess a diploma from an accredited high school or a graduate equivalency diploma (GED); (2) Must be Act 120 Certified or able to complete PA Act 120 training and pass the final exam. The Township is offering police academy tuition assistance and $30.00 per hour while attending the academy. (3) Be a United States Citizen; (4) Be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a police officer; (5) Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age; and (6) Possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
