Taconic, a global leader in the manufacturing of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric, belts and tapes has the following technician opportunities available in our Corporate Office in Petersburgh, NY: Engineering Technician - 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.) Responsible for coating and testing candidate materials. May also write reports summarizing test results. May support production by advising how to solve problems. Associate's degree or equivalent experience. Three years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. Must have strong writing skills with the ability to compose Engineering reports using MS Word and Excel. Should have the capability to solve problems using scientific methods. Compensation: $45,760 - $47,840 per year. Lab Technician - 2nd shift (12:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.) Responsible for collection, testing, data management and reporting of test data for all production samples, as well as general test equipment maintenance.
