The Town of Newington (assessed valuation: $1,293,822,000) is seeking a part time Building Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer.  The Inspector also serves as Zoning Administrator and Health Officer for the town and issues all excavation permits.  The position manages the town buildings repair and improvement projects. The Inspector manages and reports on all Code Enforcement and Town Building budget expenditures and revenues.  Position reports to the Town Administrator.
