Goochland Powhatan Community Services is seeking a Full-Time school based Mental Health Clinician. The incumbent must be a licensed mental health professional, or license eligible. This clinician’s primary responsibility is to provide school-based services to children and adolescents who reside in Goochland and Powhatan counties. This position would be housed in schools within the counties to provide outpatient therapy and case management services to students. The clinician is responsible for providing adjunctive case management and linkage to other resources that may be appropriate for clients and their families, including Departments of Social Services, Health Departments, county FAPT Teams, court services, and in home providers.   The schedule for this position follows the teacher workday schedule during the school year. DAYTIME EMERGENCY SERVICES CLINICIAN   GPCS is looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our team. We are actively building a diverse and strong applicant pool for our Full-Time Emergency Services Clinician position. GPCS has 2 clinics located in Goochland and Powhatan counties which are open Monday- Friday 8am-4:30p.      This position has a great opportunity for those who like a variety of work. We are a small but mighty team.  Our ES clinicians don’t have any on-call, weekend or holidays duties. Responsibilities include crisis intervention services, pre-admission screening evaluations for hospitalization, crisis counseling, and providing information and referrals.
