Job Description Industry Analyst - Medical Devices Frost & Sullivan is currently seeking a Sr. Industry Analyst and Team Leader for our Advanced Medical Technologies division of our Healthcare business unit in San Antonio, TX. The position requires contributions to the focus and content of our Healthcare syndicated research, growth consulting fulfillment, and capacity to serve as an expert and advisor to our clients. Learn more about Frost & Sullivan: http://tinyurl.com/Frost -Sullivan-overview Responsibilities: Research and monitor selected areas in the healthcare industry, with the goal of leveraging expertise in this market into research deliverables, including market and customer research efforts Develop relationships and conduct interviews with industry experts, executives and end-users for the purpose of gathering primary data and producing written market analyses and competitive intelligence reports Contribute to client projects, delivering quality insights within the scope, objectives, timeline and budget for assigned projects Mentor and project manage local or off-site medical technology analysts with a view to successfully deliver insightful research outputs as per annual plans Add insights in the development of proposals, with regards to methodology, achievable objectives, budget requirements, etc. Support the development of appropriate client collateral materials for business development purposes in collaboration with the sales team and research leadership to support the annual sales target Provide leadership and participate in the strategy towards building and maintaining a strong annual research program through ideation and design of appropriate research topics Contribute insights to industry media and reporters for major business publications and media interviews Establish a presence as an influential and knowledgeable expert in the medical technologies sector Monthly and Annual Best Practices tracking for the North America analyst team in advanced Med Tech – IRG 54 GPS Deliverables tracking for the North America analyst team in advanced Med Tech - Production versus target, counts, stages in Electronic Publication - work in co-ordination with the Research Manager in India Track active GPS renewal list on monthly basis, renewal dates, IRG Margin data (performance by NA region versus Global) Account management support with the AE's - Jointly review download stats, client interactivity and participate in quarterly account review meetings - Participate in client calls both existing and new prospects - Virtual client briefings schedule management - self or via sector specialist AMT new GPS target identification and support of AE's - Identify new prospect clients, Match content and customization capabilities to attract clients - Participate in client calls for new prospects Business development support - Use of time saver AMT capabilities deck - GPS proposals through templates and customization - Develop collateral / presentations for clients CSD pricing tool and GPS Pricing tool usage for use in proposals Qualifications: 3-5 years of healthcare industry market research or consulting background is required Background in medical devices/consumables, medical imaging, imaging informatics, patient monitoring, or other device class MedTech markets or direct knowledge from applicable work experience Exposure to biomedical engineering, sales and marketing or commercial roles in other healthcare markets could also be applied Skilled in relating industry knowledge to markets and business research projects and consultative sales Poise to speak at conferences applicable to business area desired Work location is San Antonio, Texas Second language in Spanish is a plus Benefits: Annual base salary plus bonus opportunity Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (flexible work schedule options available) Business casual dress attire (blue jeans on Fridays) Complimentary on-site workout facility Café on premises, serving breakfast and lunch Comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans, and 401(k) Frost & Sullivan, the Growth Partnership Company, works in collaboration with clients to leverage visionary innovation that addresses the global challenges and related transformational growth opportunities that will make or break today's market participants.
