Job Description Hardware Engineer, with great benefits and very competitive pay, needed in Cheswick, PA! POSITION SUMMARY Dynamics is currently seeking an enthusiastic and engaged Senior Hardware Engineer that will be directly engaged and responsible for contributing to the development of future payments and card technology from design through production phases. As a key member of our engineering team at Dynamics, you will provide critical support in the drive for improved quality and cost reductions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Duties will include schematic capture, PCB design, prototyping bring-up and debugging, hardware bug tracking, test plan creation, test plan execution, functional verification, signal characterization and manufacturing support. · Effective in performing detailed circuit and layout design reviews. · Hands on experience in troubleshooting complex mixed signal circuits at component level. · Experience with microcontrollers and embedded mixed-signal systems. · Embedded systems programming experience in C. · Design, test and troubleshoot mixed signal systems at component level · Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. · Ability to clearly explain complex technical issues and justify technical decision. · Proficient with oscilloscopes, power supplies, frequency generators, soldering irons and other off-the-shelf equipment. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and have at least nine (9) years of progressively responsible employment experience or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with six (6) years of progressively responsible employment experience. · Demonstrated abilities to lead a team of cross-functional engineers and to be able to break down and prioritize design tasks for the entire project. · RF antennae design and simulation and RF testing experience desired · Digital and analog design experience · Schematic capture and PCB Layout (Altium preferred) · Component selection and prototyping experience · Preparation of documentation including user guides and test reports and embedded C programming for microcontrollers.
