Position Overview
This position deals with strategic communications and public relations for the School of Music (SOM) through marketing/advertising and the production of promotional materials for the School. Responsibilities include managing the School's website, social media properties, marketing budget, and supervising student hourly external affairs assistant and graphic design employees. Navigate complex relationships between different areas within the school to ensure that all areas are represented and promoted in equitable ways. Ensure all materials produced by the communications office have KU Branding continuity and reflect positively on KUs commitment to diversity, inclusivity, equity, and belonging. Collaborate with colleagues to implement new protocols that streamline workflows.
