Job Description The ideal candidate will be able to support the RFQ process by analyzing customer supplied data (i.e. shop drawing(s), purchased part specifications, blueprints, CAD file(s), STEP.file(s), etc.) against the known capabilities of our shop (i.e. Machining, Fabrication, Weld & Finishing) to ensure compliance to customer expectation(s). The candidate for this position will split their time between estimating and various engineering duties. He/She should be familiar with all the known ASME standards governing GD&T (i.e. ASME y14.5-2009) as well as demonstrate the ability to implement all known industry standards aka "Best Practice(s)" for metal forming/fabrication & welding when creating the required documentation to support daily operations.
