Database Administrator Electric Power Board of Chattanooga is hiring a Database Administrator. Job Duties: Install and maintain relational database management system (RDBMS) software; implement new releases; complete maintenance; evaluate computer operating systems and hardware products. Troubleshoot as necessary to identify and resolve system problems, working with RDBMS vendors as necessary. Design maintenance procedures and put them into operation. Manage database security/integrity and backup procedures. Test and modify databases to ensure they operate reliably; maintain database performance by computing optimum values for database parameters.
