Job Purpose: To assist in the installation, maintenance, and replacement of automation systems at key points in the production process. Under the direction of the Senior Automation Technician, troubleshoot non-functioning components including servos, sensors, and control components.
Essential Functional Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of new automation technologies for manufacturing processes or to improve existing technologies.
Assist in the installation, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repair of industrial control systems, such as PLC’s or other computerized process control systems including those that monitor and regulate operations or machinery.
Assist in the installation and repair of electrical components such as motors, switches, relays or sensors.
Help to maintain smooth operation of automated systems, assist manufacturing technical support technicians when needed to help...
