GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Responsible for the full range of administrative and clerical support for VIA’s Procurement Division. Establish, monitor, and update public procurement files. Assist in handling and facilitating vendor payments, generating reports and record keeping. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive material.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide administrative and clerical support for Procurement staff.
Set up and type final correspondence drafts utilizing a personal computer.
Compile information, generate reports and keep records.
Order and track supplies.
Maintain and update department boilerplate documents.
Maintain message system to include tracking staff, answering, screening, and routing incoming phone calls. Take accurate messages. Answer routine internal and external customer inquiries.
Receive visitors and guests.
Open, screen, and distribute mail.
Maintain log of renewal insurance certificates received by mail, and route to the...
