Job Description This position encompasses, but is not exclusive to, the following duties: 1) Managing assigned Life, Long Term Care, Disability Income, and Annuity insurance cases a. Initial review of case to determine if additional medical or financial information is needed to expedite the case i. Contact the agent, or client if requested, for the information ii. Order necessary medical records, parameds, inspection report, or other b. Review cases on a routine basis for progress (done through smart office download, carrier web sites, communication with carrier case manager, underwriter, medical director, external wholesaler, or other) i. Provide agent case updates (weekly) ii. Act if there is something to be accomplished to further advance the process, including communicating with underwriters, APS companies, paramed companies, lab companies, agents, or clients to advance the case as applied as well as determining what might need to be done to get the case...
