GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Responsible for ensuring prudent fiscal management of VIA’s financial resources, and overseeing all financial analysis and reporting, and developing and monitoring Operating and Capital budgets. Oversees the activities in the departments of Management and Budget, General Accounting, Payroll, and Revenue Accounting.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   Plans, organizes, and coordinates all functions and activities of the division. Responsible for treasury management functions for VIA’s operating and capital funds, and ensures that funds are managed and invested in compliance with the Public Funds Investment Act and VIA’s Investment Policy. Handles fiscal responsibilities associated with the long-range capital plan, including generating systemwide financial projections and preparing related financial/operating templates to be submitted to the FTA for Capital Investment Grant program projects.
