Chesterfield County Government is seeking a Senior Utility Inspector to complete inspection of the field installation of water and sewer lines associated with Capital Improvement Projects to insure compliance with approved plans and specifications; provide written daily status reports of work inspected; provide inspection of waterline pressure tests, chlorine residual checks, sewer line air pressure tests, and sewer manhole vacuum testing; coordinate disinfection, testing and utility shutdowns; provide written documentation of materials and quantities and complete necessary "as-built" drawings and forms using software applications; serve as a county representative to citizens concerning all aspects of construction; perform other work as required.
