Job Description

Apertus Partners is in need of a Master Database Developer. As a member of a team of skilled software development practitioners, you will be r esponsible for leading the database development team in design, SQL and PL/SQL coding, and administering databases, including security, access, and documentation. You will be responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and administering databases, including security, access, and documentation. You will provides long-range requirements for database administration and design in conjunction with other managers in the information systems function. You will designs, create, and maintain databases as well as conducting quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. Minimum Qualifications:

      Minimum 25 years database experience at the enterprise level

U.S. Citizen possessing a Tier III (Secret or equivalent) clearance

Experience designing strategies for enterprise database systems and setting standards for operations, and security.

Experience with designing and constructing large relational databases

Experience in integrating new systems with existing warehouse structure and refining system performance and functionality

Experience with administering, testing, and implementing computer databases, and applying knowledge of database management systems

Experience with coordinating changes to computer databases

Experience with planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures to safeguard computer databases

Experience with administering, designing and analyzing databases

Experience with developing and designing database architectures, strategies, system monitoring and improving database performance and capacity, and planning for future expansion requirements

Experience with monitoring database performance; evaluating and resolving processing; designing database management tools; answering user questions

Ability to consult on policy and governance issues associated with data storage, sharing and securing

Experience with Data Warehousing, particularly with Informatica PowerCenter.

Experience with Oracle CPU patching and applying critical updates

Experience with migration of Oracle 11g to 12cR1/R2

Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Professional with experience with RAC and GRID administration and SQL and PL/SQL coding

  • Bachelor of Science Degree

 

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Security+ Certification

DOEHRS-IH System Experience

Experience with Medical Health Service reporting and terminology

Experience with Oracle DB on both AIX and Windows Server

Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Master or Expert with experience with RAC and GRID administration

Enterprise-level database experience within the Department of Defense
