Job Description

The UIC College of Pharmacy seeks a Class Coordinator for its Rockford Pharmacy Program (PharmD).  This is 5 day week, Aug –May (9 mos pd over 12 mos) position. The Rockford program uses live broadcast learning & is an interactive experience for students, with on-site teaching on both Chicago and Rockford campuses. The Class Coordinator serves as the Rockford classroom liaison to Chicago-based course faculty & is a critical liaison between on-site & distance faculty, students, IT unit, and lab staff. The Coordinator will be assigned primarily to the first professional year (P1) class and labs.  Min Reqs are a Bachelor’s degree; (education, health care, natural or physical science, or related field preferred). Also required are excellent reading/writing/communication skills, demonstrable organizational skills and an aptitude for working with MS Office and Blackboard.  The applicant must be able to demonstrate a history of reliability and timeliness, as well as the ability to deal effectively with a diverse student and faculty population.  For full job details and to apply go to .  The Univ of IL conducts background checks on all job candidates upon acceptance of contingent offer of employment.
