Project Manager

Project Manager Senesco Marine, LLC, North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Job Duties: Coordinate and integrate technical activities across various engineering projects; Collaborate with management, production, and marketing teams to discuss project requirements; Present proposals, reports, and findings, explaining technical and operational details and recommendations; Develop comprehensive project schedules, detailing milestones, and completion dates for ship repair activities; Create work breakdown structures and networks for effective project planning and control; Maintain organization charts and daily workforce rosters, ensuring optimal resource allocation; Record and analyze the impact of changes to project specifications, communicating findings to relevant parties; Conduct regular meetings with project teams to discuss progress, critical activities, and delivery status; Prepare meeting minutes, revise schedules, and generate reports for communication with clients and vendors; Implement change management processes and resolve conflicts to enhance workflow efficiency; Conduct ship checks before project commencement to develop accurate project specifications and schedules; Assist in contract bidding, develop organizational strategies, and establish project goals; Record and document project-related information, including daily planners and progress reports; Identify critical materials required for task completion and coordinate their procurement; Identify project constraints and develop strategies to mitigate risks and manage constraints effectively; Communicate project milestones, critical path activities, and potential impacts to top management; Consider weather and environmental factors when developing project plans and schedules; Develop project closure reports, documenting lessons learned, quality compliance, budget adherence, and milestone achievements. Required Education: Masters in Engineering and Operations Management, Engineering Management, Project Management or related field. Required Experience: Twelve (12) months as Project Manager, Naval Architect, Project Planner or related in ship building/repair industry. Will accept post-baccalaureate degree experience.
