HIGHWAY LABORER

HIGHWAY LABORER Springfield Township, Montgomery County, is seeking individuals for the position of Public Works Highway Laborer. FT position responsible for frequent roadway maintenance projects and parks maintenance. On-call availability to assist in emergency situations after normal work hours. Possible temporary assignment on Refuse or Recycle collection routes. Applicants should have a general understanding of roadway and park maintenance. A High School diploma or equivalent and a valid Pennsylvania Drivers License is required. A Pennsylvania Commercial Drivers License and 3-5 years of municipal work or equivalent construction trade experience is preferred. Applications may be obtained at the Township building, 1510 Paper Mill Road, Wyndmoor, M-Th 9:00 am to 4 pm; Friday, 8:30 AM to 11:30 am. Applications will not be mailed out. Completed applications and resume must be submitted, in-person, to the Township Receptionist no later than 11:30 a.m., August 30th. Springfield Township is an EOE.
