Roxbury Central School has the following anticipated opening for the 2024-2025 school year: Long-Term ENL Substitute Teacher Certified ENL teacher needed for a long-term subbing position for the entire 2024-2025 school year. We are seeking a dedicated ENL (English as a New Language) Substitute Teacher to support our diverse classroom environments. The successful candidate will implement lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and provide instructional support to English language learners. Responsibilities include adapting lessons to meet individual student needs, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, and ensuring smooth transitions in the absence of the regular teacher. Candidates should have a strong understanding of ENL teaching strategies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage students from various cultural backgrounds. Previous experience with ENL or ESL programs and a relevant teaching certification are preferred. This role is ideal for flexible educators who thrive in dynamic settings and are passionate about fostering language acquisition and academic success. Position to begin 9/3/24. Starting salary: $49,874.
