Plan, schedule, & coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines. Review & approve shop drawings & samples submitted by engineers, sub-contractors & suppliers. Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications & structural repairs to industrial & managerial personnel. Perform plan takeoffs and create budget, conceptual and final estimates. Inspect project sites, monitor progress & ensure conformance to design specifications, safety & sanitation standards. Conduct rigorous quality control inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, code requirements & company construction standards. Employer requires a Master's degree or its foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related studies + 36 months of relevant experience in offered or as Site Engineer, Project Engineer, or a closely related occupation.
